Greetings everyone! I hope you are all safe and healthy! I wanted to start by sharing that there are recent developments among our group that demonstrate the power and generosity of this network. Recently in the RBFN Facebook group, we saw a couple members ask questions about deal structures and receive answers and advice from practitioners willing to share the wisdom of their experience. That’s exactly why we set up the Facebook group, and it’s exciting to see knowledge shared in this way!

We also saw members explore the opportunity to work together on deals (here’s looking at you, Denise Dunlap and Janice St. Onge!), which is incredibly exciting because that is one of the key reasons we exist: to find ways to work together. In fact, at the first Alternative Capital Summit in Denver in 2018, co-investing was a focus of several discussions. It’s exciting and gratifying to see those conversations happening among this group of practitioners now. I’m looking forward to hearing more about these conversations and to sharing outcomes as they develop!
