New Podcast Episode: There Are No Evil Financial Tools (And Being A Misfit)

Happy Tuesday, friends!

Buckle up for a great new episode of the RBFN Podcast! Today we have Jonathan Bragdon, the General Partner of Capacity Capital! Jonathan is seriously impressive. He's started 8 companies, invested in over 30 businesses, is a Venture Partner at Builders & Backers, Wefunder, Republic, StartEngine, and has been featured in CNN, TechCrunch, BusinessWeek, and Inc.com. In short, he's kind of a big deal in the Southeast startup community. Jonathan also partners with our friend Jamie Finney to write the Innovative Finance Newsletter, where he offers deep insights across a range of early-stage, alternative capital investing topics.

Jonathan founded Capacity, a strategic advisory firm, and Capacity Capital, an investment fund that supports founders who are women, minorities, or veterans. Capacity Capital counts among its investors the Capital Access Lab. It's awesome to see someone doing such important work in an underserved region of the US!

On the show, Jonathan shares his journey from entrepreneur to investor and dives into how he empowers underestimated founders. He has a unique approach to combining funding and strategic advice that sets him apart. Jonathan also talks about the flaws he's noticed in most funding structures and how he overcomes them at Capacity, and gives tips on building a crucial, helpful network.

It's a great episode, and I think you'll learn a lot. Can't wait for you to check it out! Click here to listen.
